It's time for the 2015 International Builders' Show, and CertainTeed Corporation, North America's leading brand of building products, is ready to impress, inform and entertain attendees with a spectacular exhibit featuring a robust schedule of "Meet the Experts" sessions, inspired interior and exterior products, celebrity appearances and more at booth #C2127, Jan. 20-22 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
"With a wide-ranging breadth of knowledge gleaned from 110 years of manufacturing high performance building materials, I can't think of a better way to provide our customers with added value and confidence in our brand, than by sharing our professional insights and expertise," said John Crowe, president and CEO of CertainTeed Corporation. "And this is an especially exciting year for us, as we move to our new headquarters retrofitted almost exclusively with CertainTeed products, as well as products by our global parent company, Saint-Gobain—celebrating a remarkable 350 years of manufacturing excellence. We look forward to continuing a legacy of providing innovative building solutions for generations to come."
Back by popular demand, Chicago-area television personality Ted Brunson will host a full three-day schedule of "Meet the Experts" sessions at the booth, featuring industry professionals who will address hot topics such as indoor air quality, moisture management, thermal comfort, color and curb appeal, roofing trends and overall good building practices.
Born out of this expertise and sterling track record of material innovations, CertainTeed will also be offering visitors to its booth a sneak peek of two new products that will be available later this year. They include:
Presidio™ Metal Roofing – Mimicking the authentic appearance of wood shake and clay tile and featuring cool roof technology.
CertaSpray® X Open Cell Spray Foam Insulation – a one-step application solution which includes ignition barrier protection to easily meet Appendix X building code requirements in attics and crawlspaces—on time and on budget. The newest offering complements a complete comfort system approach to insulating a home utilizing CertainTeed's full product portfolio.
These new products will be accompanied by CertainTeed's unparalleled line-up of long-lasting polymer, insulated and vinyl siding products as well as fence, railing, decking, roofing and exterior trim that feature authentic textures, versatile styles and rich color combinations, for a beautifully coordinated look. Products include Cedar Impressions® polymer shakes with authentic cedar grain texture; sustainable CedarBoards™ Insulated Siding with enhanced thermal performance and added strength and rigidity for outstanding impact resistance; Monogram® Clapboard and Dutchlap siding featuring the widest color palette available today; long-lasting EverNew® railing and decking, industry-leading Bufftech® vinyl fence; and Patriot asphalt roofing shingles, which combine intricate color blend drops and intermittent shadow lines with durability, value and curb appeal. Also making its show debut will be the recently introduced Restoration Millwork® InvisiPro™ hidden fastening system for easy, neat installation of complementary cellular PVC exterior trim.
Several sustainable, high performance interior products including AirRenew® IAQ and SilentFX® Noise-Reducing drywall, and GlasRoc® Diamondback® Tile Backer will be highlights of additional wall-to-wall vignettes alongside SMARTBATT™ with MoistureSense™ Technology, an industry-first fiberglass batt insulation that contributes to healthier homes and buildings by intelligently managing moisture.
In addition, two celebrity appearances are planned at the booth on Wednesday, Jan. 21. A meet and greet with home improvement authority Ron Hazelton of TV's "HouseCalls," is scheduled for 11:30 a.m., and respected celebrity contractor Mike Holmes, host of "Holmes on Homes," will be available from 3-4 p.m. And all are welcome to enjoy complimentary coffee and phone charging station, and stay a bit later for post-show happy hours on Tuesday and Wednesday.
