Eco Building Products, Inc., announced today that F1 Construction, Inc. based out of Queens, New York has placed their second Eco Red Shield Advanced Framing Lumber "full-house pack" purchase order, for a new custom home to be built in the Howard Beach neighborhood of Queens, New York. Be on the lookout for this jobsite and the customary "ASK US WHY IT'S RED" signage, informing inquisitive passersby that there's much more to this defensive technology than its distinctive red color.
This protected lumber package comprised of all framing components, sheathing and engineered wood products will be manufactured and shipped from the Company's Fair Lawn, New Jersey coating facility.
F1 Construction made a commitment to raise their Company's standards on how wood-framed buildings are built, but had no idea as to the amount of attention this strategic move would garner. Presently, F1 Construction has two Eco Red custom jobs going vertical this Holiday season, and one in the pipeline with foundations being poured and formed this coming week. ECOB and its' newest Defensive Partner http://www.ecob.net/index.php?p=services&id=124 F1 Construction are confident that Eco Red Shield's defense against mold, termites and wood-rot decay is just as important as this product's protection from fire.
Gustavo Badolati, President of F1 Construction, Inc. commented "Eco's crew made mention that this defensive lumber product would stop traffic, attracting attention to my jobsite, and it has! I've never had more visitors stop in on any jobsite asking me about a particular product, especially lumber, and I tell these folks that the concept is comparable to that of a telephone booth versus new age smart phones. The general functions of this protected lumber product are the same as raw lumber- framing, but the defensive capabilities over raw lumber allow me as the builder to truly build a better home. It's rewarding for me to work with Eco's products because I have the utmost confidence that after every cut and installation, this product is certain to last."

Steve Conboy, President & CEO of Eco Building Products commented that "Just last week when I was on the job site with Gustavo conducting his interview, it was apparent to my Team and I that we found another great partner for this region in the Northeast. Following our site visit, Gustavo gave us a tour of a local Italian Restaurant he built that featured unique architectural detail and high-quality finish work that F1 Construction has become synonymous with. Even the restaurant owner knew about Eco."
