MCR Development LLC, one of the largest hotel owner-operators in the United States, today announced it has completed a comprehensive renovation of the lobby and meeting space at the Courtyard Jacksonville Orange Park, a 115-room hotel located at 610 Wells Road in Orange Park, Fla. The renovation is part of MCR’s strategy to drive RevPAR through its ongoing renovation program.
The hotel’s newly redesigned lobby has been transformed into a more modern, open, bright and friendly environment with a vibrant and contrasting color pattern. The lobby’s bistro, offering specialty beverages made with Starbucks® coffee, was also redesigned to serve as an appealing destination for hotel guests to start their day. Innovative GoBoard® technology, an interactive touch screen that guests can use for weather and news updates or directions to surrounding attractions, is also prominently featured in the lobby.
In addition to the lobby transformation, MCR has renovated the hotel’s 4,530 square feet of meeting space in order to provide guests with high-quality space to meet, work and collaborate with friends and colleagues.
The Courtyard Jacksonville Orange Park features beautifully decorated guest rooms and top-notch amenities such as free Wi-Fi and a sparkling outdoor pool with a generous deck and seating. The hotel is conveniently located off I-295, in proximity to some of Jacksonville’s most sought-after attractions including Everbank Field, the home stadium for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Orange Park Kennel Club, a popular dog racing track, Naval Air Station Jacksonville and St. Johns Town Center, a premier outdoor lifestyle center with a variety of retail and dining options that attract more than 10 million visitors each year.
