BASF spray polyurethane foam now displays the Spray Foam Coalition Code of Conduct Seal in recognition of its commitment to the continuous improvement in health, safety and product stewardship of spray polyurethane foam (SPF) products. The Seal was developed by the Spray Foam Coalition of the American Chemistry Council’s Center for the Polyurethanes Industry.
“BASF is proud to display the Spray Foam Coalition Code of Conduct Seal, as it underscores the commitment we have to creating truly sustainable solutions that improve daily life and our dedication to environmental, health and safety issues while doing so,” said Michael Sievers, Sales Manager, Construction Segment, BASF.
The Spray Foam Coalition Code of Conduct signifies a commitment to a culture of product safety and is the first of its kind in the SPF industry.
“The values of product stewardship and product safety are important to the entire SPF industry. This Seal is another example of our members’ commitment to providing the value chain and consumers with access to clear, concise information about the stewardship surrounding and benefits of this valuable and effective product,” said Justin Koscher, Director of the Spray Foam Coalition.
