Luxury plumbing fixtures from the Solace™ Collection are showcased for the first time in brushed nickel today at the International Builders’ Show.
ShowHouse, the luxury brand of Moen, featuring faucets, showerheads, body sprays and bath accessories, will offer the Solace Collection in brushed nickel, a sought-after finish that integrates well with many bath designs. Shipments begin this month exclusively to authorized ShowHouse distributors across the nation.
“Brushed nickel is a hot finish for fixtures,” said Jennifer Rowell, ShowHouse brand manager. “The surface is soft yet edgy and it reflects light beautifully. As part of our ongoing commitment to broaden the choices and options for builders, designers, and their affluent homeowners, brushed nickel is now available across more than 50 percent of the ShowHouse product portfolio.”
ShowHouse introduced the Solace Collection in 2005 and it has quickly become one of the brand’s bestsellers.
The ShowHouse design team selected chrome to highlight the collection’s Zen modern style and high arc design.
While chrome was initially the only finish choice for Solace, research has validated demand for brushed nickel. Solace is a fully accessorized bath collection with fixtures and accessories available for installation throughout the entire bath, whether a master, secondary bath or powder room. All Solace spa elements are engineered to deliver a luxurious spa experience, as well as designed to enhance the ambience of the bath. The shower controls and faucets feature either the collection’s signature cross or lever handles.
To ensure flexibility of application, widespread and roman tub faucet handles can be mounted in the wall or on the counter. The collection features a two-handle centerset faucet with single-hole mount; high arc or wall-mount two-handle widespread faucets; as well as a coordinating high-arc roman tub faucet.
What’s more, accessories also include a pivoting paper holder, a robe hook, two coordinating towel bars and towel ring.
