Deputy Prime Minister Announces Appointments To English Partnerships Board

The Deputy Prime Minister, John Prescott has announced the appointment of three new members to the board of English Partnerships.

John Parker, Richard Harrold and Geoffrey Wright bring a wealth of knowledge and experience of housing, project management and delivering major projects.

The Deputy Prime Minister said, "I am delighted English Partnerships are gaining these three new board members. Their extensive skills and experience in commercial development, the property sector and the housing industry will prove invaluable to helping the Board to contribute to the delivery of the Sustainable Communities Agenda – helping to create well planned, managed and well-designed places where people want to live and work now and in the future."

Margaret Ford, Chairman of English Partnerships said, "These new Board members are big hitters. As English Partnerships' business continues to develop and strategic projects in our portfolio are more characterised by scale and complexity, the wealth of commercial experience that our new Board members will make will be invaluable.”
