CB&I Awarded $100M Contract to Perform Construction and Fabrication for CF Industries' Fertilizer Complex

CB&I announced today it has been awarded a contract valued at approximately $100 million by CF Industries. CB&I will perform construction and component fabrication for CF Industries' new urea ammonia nitrate and nitric acid units, offsites and utilities at its complex in Donaldsonville, La.

"This award is the result of CB&I's comprehensive construction and fabrication capabilities and resources, as well as our previous work for CF Industries," said Patrick Mullen, President of CB&I's Engineering, Construction and Maintenance operating group. "Since the 1960s, CB&I has provided tank construction services for CF Industries. This award builds on our long-standing relationship with our client and expands our experience in the fertilizer industry."
