Building on their shared success in the U.S. market, two Wisconsin-based companies have announced a joint venture to market their line of architectural doors overseas.
Under the new agreement, Eggers Industries in Two Rivers, and Inpro Corporation in Muskego will seek overseas production and sales partners for the eiDoor® line. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Since 2008, Inpro and Eggers have been successfully partnered in producing doors clad in IPC® rigid sheet, and offered in several constructions, including fire-rated, acoustical, lead lined and bullet-resistant.
For Inpro, this is another in a continuing series of steps to increase its international reach. "We've been able to gain both a smoothing and growth in our revenue stream by expanding overseas," said Marc Holland, EVP of Sales and Marketing for Inpro. "It allows us to offset the ups and downs of regional business cycles.
"This new venture with Eggers will give us the ability to source eiDoor products locally in the partners' countries, and use their expertise on local fire and building codes," Holland continued. "This also improves our planetary impact by cutting transportation."
"Partnering with Inpro continues to be a beneficial relationship focused on innovation and functional solutions for the marketplace," said Ann Duebner, Vice-President of Sales and Administration for Eggers. "Providing a tested solution for high-impact applications internationally is an opportunity we look forward to."
