EMCOR Group, Inc., a Fortune 500® leader in mechanical and electrical construction, industrial and energy infrastructure, and facilities services for a diverse range of businesses, announced that its subsidiary, Poole & Kent Company of Florida, has been awarded a contract by the City of Sunrise for improvements to the existing Springtree Water Treatment Plant in Sunrise, Florida.
Poole & Kent (P&K) will be responsible for all aspects of the project construction. Scope of work includes construction of a new two-story operations building for the Water Treatment Plant, as well as a new high service pump station, which will include large vertical turbine pumps and associated electrical, instrumentation, and control systems. Additional work includes all required demolition, yard piping, paving, grading, entranceway modifications, irrigation, landscaping, drainage, and overall integration of the new structures and equipment into the existing Water Treatment Plant.
