Sofame Technologies Inc., a leading Canadian manufacturer of environmentally efficient industrial water heaters and cost effective heat recovery systems for traditional boilers, is pleased to be named as one of the top three finalists in the Green Building Category at the 2013 Global Cleantech Cluster Awards.
The Global Cleantech Cluster Association announced the finalists for its 2013 Global Top 30 Later Stage Awards on October 21st. The mid-to-late stage companies originate from a variety of cleantech industries, including solar, wind and clean web to lighting, energy efficiency, waste, and water. Each company was evaluated based on their merits in technological innovation and business acumen using the Keystone Compact Method.
The Top 30 semi-finalists in all ten categories will now be judged by 28 cleantech venture capitalists, investors and serial entrepreneurs who collectively manage $3.5 billion in clean technology investments. The GCCA judges include SJF Ventures, Blue Hill Partners, Spring Capital, Sofinnova Partners and many more, who will ultimately hand-select the winners. The Best in Class winners in the 10 Later Stage Award categories will be announced at the Corporate Cleantech Venture Day on November 20th at Sibelius Hall in Lahti, Finland.
