Dr. Sbar is responsible for performance analysis of electrochromic (EC) windows in buildings and managing various aspects of EC materials and processing technologies. He previously spent 26 years at AT&T Bell Laboratories, most recently as Manufacturing R&D Director, handling strategic development of research programs supporting major business units.

Derek Malmquist has 20 years of experience leading B2B and consumer product marketing teams at both large global companies and start-up organizations. At SAGE he is responsible for all marketing activities. He previously served as VP of corporate marketing at Ecolab in St. Paul, Minn., VP of marketing at LookSmart.com in San Francisco, and director of marketing at Clorox in Oakland, Calif. Derek attended college at Harvard and also has an MBA from Harvard Business School.
