Builder Homesite, a consortium of 35 of the nation's largest homebuilders, announced today that they are launching a new television show to showcase new home communities and manufacturer's products.
The show, "New Home Lifestyles," is being piloted in Orlando, Florida with plans to expand into other markets in the coming months. Rather than simply take a walk-through of the home, "New Home Lifestyles" tells the personal story of a homebuyer's buying experience, as well as providing information about a builder's personal philosophy and how specific problems were solved for that client. Viewers will learn about the community where the home is located, and meet manufacturers who can provide compelling information on specific products.
"'New Home Lifestyles' gives Lennar the opportunity to take advantage of the powerful benefits of showcasing our new homes and our Company on a television show that is both high quality and high value," said Steve Berenfeld, Creative Director for Lennar. "Builder Homesite has a proven track record of delivering successful marketing solutions for the whole building industry and we truly believe in their initiatives."
Robin Hartl, a popular and nationally recognized home improvement expert, and former host of the "Hometime" television show, hosts "New Home Lifestyles."
Each show is thirty minutes long and features profiles of several new home buyer experiences. "What really sets the 'New Home Lifestyles' show apart from other builder-focused television shows is that we are engaging viewers by telling the real stories of real homebuyers," said Michael Maxin, director of business development for Builder Homesite, the company that produced "New Home Lifestyles."
"Hi-Definition Television is the perfect medium to bring these homes and communities to life." Maxin added, "Most people think that television marketing will be cost-prohibitive but because the Builders are working together on the production, we are able to deliver a high-quality program at a very reasonable cost."
In addition to the exposure on television, participating builders also get the added value of having show content presented online. Two-minute segments from each builder are featured on www.newhomelifestyles.com.
Participating builders include: Beazer Homes USA, Centex Corporation, KB Home, David Weekley Homes, Lennar, and Pulte Homes.
