ATI's Second Thermal Test Chamber on West Coast Receives NFRC Accreditation

Architectural Testing's Kent, Washington laboratory has been accredited by NFRC to perform thermal tests in accordance with NFRC 102, which specifies the methods used for determining the thermal transmittance of window and door products. The recently added thermal testing capability in the northwest adds to ATI's existing network of laboratories for a total of 4 thermal test facilities nationwide.

This milestone represents ATI's second thermal test chamber positioned in the Pacific Time zone along with their laboratory in Fresno, California. Additional chambers are also located in St. Paul, Minnesota and York, Pennsylvania. "Our customers have been anxious to have additional thermal test options in the Pacific Northwest and we are happy to be fulfilling that need," Jeff Dideon, Director – Regional Operations, stated upon approval by NFRC.

For additional information on NFRC 102 and to download the standard, NFRC's website can be accessed directly through this link.
