"As our President Barack Obama reminded us Tuesday night and Home Builder news indicates signs of recovery, our production home releases continue to increase. Eco Building Products is very active in the planning efforts for the Sandy rebuild on the east coast, hosting town hall meetings providing education on embracing defensive building practices and technologies that are changing wood framed construction nationally. Our President reminded us of the weather pattern changes and the need to embrace new sustainable ways to build and ECOB is out in front of everyone with our Institute of Defensive Building Practices (IDBP). I have been building in California since the Northridge earthquake which has taught Eco's team how to embrace lateral strength and hardware making California wood framed buildings the best in the world. My team and I are leading the way when it comes to protecting wood fiber strength from termites and wood-rot so we know our buildings original engineered design values will be maintained when the next hurricane winds or ground movement strikes," stated Steve Conboy , President and CEO of Eco Building Products.
