Balfour Beatty Communities, LLC (BBC), a leading provider of property management, development and related real estate services for the multifamily, military and student housing markets, announced the Professional Housing Management Association (PHMA) has named its team and their Navy partners at Naval Weapons Station Charleston as the 2012 US Navy Outstanding Housing Team—Privatized Location, and Balfour Beatty Communities employee Jesse Hopkins, a maintenance supervisor at Naval Air Station Key West, as the 2012 Outstanding Housing Employee for Public Private Ventures.

PHMA’s Outstanding Housing Team—Privatized Location Award is presented to military installation teams (defined as having both federal and contractor/partners) that demonstrate achievement of an outstanding living environment for military members and/or their families. The Outstanding Housing/Billeting Employee Award is presented to a member of an organization engaged in directing or managing military housing, housing support or oversight functions.
