Dow Corning, a global leader in the development of silicone technology for the high performance building industry, is introducing the new.
Dow Corning® Vacuum Insulation Panel at the U.S. Green Building Council’s Greenbuild 2012, scheduled for November 14 through 16 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California. Exhibiting at Booth 3625N in the North Expo Hall at the Greenbuild 2012 Expo, Dow Corning also will showcase high performance silicone sealant products. Additionally, a Dow Corning representative will offer expert insight during McGraw-Hill Construction’s “Meet the Experts” presentations.
The new Dow Corning Vacuum Insulation Panel is a high-efficiency insulation product featuring five to 10 times better thermal resistance than conventional insulation materials. The panel also has a thin-profile construction and enables slim wall constructions to maximize usable floor spaces. The new Dow Corning Vacuum Insulation Panel also features good compression strength and fire rating, and it contains up to 95% pre-consumer recycled content in the core and post-consumer recycled content in the packaging.
In addition, Dow Corning will showcase its proven Dow Corning® 758 Silicone Weather Barrier Sealant, which offers excellent unprimed adhesion to a wide range of materials. Dow Corning 758 Silicone Weather Barrier Sealant brings long-term durability, consistent adhesion performance and compatibility, and ease-of-use for sealing challenging weather barrier substrates. And with ±25% movement capability, architects benefit from increased design flexibility.
Dow Corning Global Facade and Architectural Design Leader Dr. Mikkel Kragh will be a featured speaker at Greenbuild 2012 during McGraw-Hill Construction’s “Meet the Experts” presentations at 2 p.m. November 14 and 15.
