Traditional Building Exhibition and Conference Announces Its 2006 Schedule and a Fall Event

The Traditional Building Exhibition and Conference is happy to announce its 2006 show schedule. In addition to a national spring event, April 6-8, at Chicago's Navy Pier, the show will return to Washington, DC, October 5-7, 2006, next fall. The only event dedicated to the restoration, renovation and historically inspired new construction market, the Traditional Building Show captures an audience of architects, builders, contractors, facilities managers, interior designers, suppliers, and more. With educational seminars, tours, and networking events, plus hundreds of exhibitors with products and services unique to this market, there's something for everyone at every level of expertise.

April 5-8, 2006 in Chicago, IL, will be a wonderful opportunity to come together on the Navy Pier for the Traditional Building Exhibition and Conference. The conference will run over four days (April 5-8) and the exhibition over three (April 6-8). Chicago is an exciting city, an architectural delight, and a perfect setting for this event.

Attendees can take part in tours of historic Chicago landmarks plus over 75 educational workshops and seminars, such as "Designing and Decorating the Arts and Crafts Home." For even greater learning and networking opportunities, the AIA Historic Resources Committee's 2006 Spring Meeting and the Association for Preservation Technology Building Codes and Historic Rehabilitation Conference will co-locate with the Traditional Building Exhibition and Conference.

Next fall, October 5-7, 2006 the Traditional Building Show will return to Washington, DC, which promises to be an ideal venue for the three-day event. Today, Washington, DC, flourishes in history and in culture and is the hottest restoration, renovation, and new construction market in the United States. Spend three days with us to conduct "Traditional Building Business" at the Washington Hilton Hotel and Towers.

The Washington Hilton is set on seven park-like acres in one of DC's most prestigious neighborhoods. Its neighbors include embassies, art galleries, fine restaurants, and the landmark residences of Dupont Circle. Walking distance from the National Zoo, Embassy Row, and Georgetown, the Washington Hilton is so convenient to Metro that many other sights, museums and historic landmarks are just minutes away.
