"As the ECOB World News creates and develops curiosity within the specifying community, we have created a platform that ultimately provides detailed education on our products use, but more importantly, the factors associated with the benefits of specifying Eco Red Shield protected lumber products. We recognize that the builders are looking to obtain the code minimums because it will help keep their brick and mortar costs low," stated Steve Conboy, President & CEO.
The Company's plan to create primary demand for Eco Red Shield™ protected lumber products while completing required testing, code approvals and certifications was 100% successful. The Company's products are now being recognized, not only here in North America, but all around the world. In keeping with the Company's vision to teach the world a new way to build with protected lumber, Eco has tapped into play with its Corporate University platform, ECOB University, providing valuable online education opportunities, empowering students to develop the knowledge, attitudes and skills necessary to achieve their professional goals, while improving their understanding of sustainable building practices, through leadership and service to their communities and the world. Not only will this online platform serve as an introduction to the Company, it will also create and promote product awareness, delivering timely news and information about the complete line of Eco Red Shield protected lumber products.
"The only way to get the pull-through in the market is to first get the product specified on the plans. My past experience in creating paradigm shift in the market reflects back to the foundation created by achieving product specification. My initial vision with the Company was to create ECOB World News platform to provide timely information regarding the development of Eco Red Shield products while simultaneously creating awareness about the ECOB University for detailed instruction, ultimately resulting in architects and engineers understanding the product and specifying it for use on the architectural plans," stated Steve Conboy, President & CEO.
