Eco-taxation Could Improve Sustainability

According to a new report, eco-taxation could result in more sustainable urban development. The report, written by the LSE's Professor of Environmental Planning, Yvonne Rydin, and published by the RICS Foundation looks at how the planning system could promote a more sustainable future.

Rydin suggests that an eco-tax system could be an effective way of influencing developers to adopt sustainable urban development practices.
