Clopay Wins Gold Innovation Award from Home Builder Executive Magazine

Clopay, a manufacturer  of residential garage doors, has declared that it has been presented with Gold Award for product innovation in the category from the editors of Home Builder Executive.

Based on aesthetic design, durability, easy-maintenance, and excellent energy efficiency, two of Clopay’s offering such as the Canyon Ridge Collection Ultra-Grain Series and Clopay’s  Coachman Collection 2” polyurethane insulated steel and composite carriage house garage door have achieved recognition.

A natural wood appearance is reflected in both the doors. By adopting novel construction materials and foam-injected polyurethane insulation in its products, Clopay promotes energy efficiency and low maintenance costs.

The Coachman Collection of Clopay has recently been complemented with the addition of a 2” thick polyurethane insulation option with an R-value of 18.4, creating two-fold increase in thermal performance of a polystyrene insulated door having same thickness.

The company offers 15  carriage house designs with a choice of decorative hardware, windows, and four paint colors for different architectural styles.

Furthermore, the company has recently added a cost-effective and elegant version ‘the Canyon Ridge Collection Ultra-Grain Series’ to its Canyon Ridge Collection Limited Edition Series faux wood door line. It consists of a 2” polyurethane insulated steel base door having Ultra-Grain, a robust woodgrain paint finish. Stained Clear Cypress composite overlays coat the steel door surface to produce excellent carriage house designs with an R-value of 18.4.

The ½”-thick cladding overlay material on the door has been crafted from actual pieces of Clear Cypress wood for exquisite grain patterns with natural texture.

The Canyon Ridge Collection Ultra-Grain Series is being offered in 14 panel designs with an option of  windows or solid top sections that come in Medium or Walnut finish colors.
