Qualex-Landmark has announced the launch of its downtown Calgary condominium project called ‘MARK on 10th’.
Demolition crews have started dismantling the former West Canadian Graphics building at 8th Street SW and 10th Avenue to make way for the new condo project.
The 34-story condo project will come up in the Beltline region and will offer homes specifically designed for Urban Calgary. This mixed-used high-rise tower, designed by Rafii Architect in partnership with Durante-Kreuk Landscape Architects and BKDI Architects, will feature over height ceilings and doors, wide plank wood-laminate flooring, expansive windows, individually controlled heating and air conditioning systems and fine porcelain tiles.
Amenities in the downtown Calgary condos will include a glass mezzanine lounge, fitness studio and private members club as well as an elevated hot tub, lounge area along with outdoor barbecue, sunbathing patio with seating and raised fire pit. A 17,000-square-foot garden, which will be placed on the third floor podium, will be one of the largest high-rise common gardens in Calgary.
MARK on 10th is located in the middle of Calgary's Design District area. It has earned a Walk Score rating of 97%. The entry lobby of the condo building will feature the novel artwork of a renowned visual artist from Canada.
Roger Navabi, Qualex-Landmark’s president, said that the downtown Calgary condominium project is purpose built for urban dwellers.
