CPG International has proclaimed the signing of an agreement to procure TimberTech, an auxiliary of the Crane group and renowned manufacturer of high grade, minimal upkeep decking, railing and other exterior accessory products.
CPG International is the parent organization of AZEK Building Products, a prominent manufacturer of high-grade, low maintenance exterior products such as decking, porch boards, railing, trim, recycled composite pavers and mouldings.
Eric K. Jungbluth, CEO of CPG, stated that the final aim is for AZEK and TimberTech to come together. He believes that this collaboration will give bring forth the largest manufacturer of decks, trims, and railings and will also form a champion organization as both companies manufacture very well engineered outdoor construction products that proffer excellent performance, durability and beauty. He added that it is a great opportunity and AZEK and TimberTech are a good combination of two big brands that are dedicated to providing the best grade of products and consistent inventive efforts. Both establishments have a good bonding with distributors all over the U.S. and Canada.
Jungbluth further added that AZEK has initiated the changeover from wood exterior trim and decking to cellular PVC and TimberTech has taken the lead in composite decking since the product was launched. This winning team will contribute a lot to the growth of the industry.
CPG anticipates that procuring TimberTech will be completed by late September. According to Mike Crane, President of The Crane Group Companies, the organization was holding on to TimberTech because Crane Group held a majority interest in CPG. Crane Group was aware of CPG’s heads, their values and their expertise; they value their employees remembering that the employees are the strength of the organization.
