Hardin Construction and Hunt Construction Group as general contractors in a joint collaboration have commenced building work on the Hyatt Place hotel in downtown Nashville, Tennessee. The hotel comprises 13 floors.
The hotel is a combined collaboration of White Lodging Services and Host Hotels and Resorts. The Hyatt Place Nashville/Downtown will be erected on the site which accommodated Rock City Machine Company earlier. It will be promoted and maintained by White Lodging. The venture is the second hotel of White Lodging in Nashville.
PFVS Architects will be in charge of the design of the 13-story hotel. It will constitute 3600 sq. ft. of meeting area and a garage for parking vehicles with 163 spaces. The foyer will feature the Hyatt Place brand’s exclusive food and beverage choices, The Gallery, a complete bar that serves beer, wine, other spirits as well as coffee, which will remain open to guests 24 hours a day, as well as the recent courtesy hot breakfast facility called the a.m. Kitchen Skillet that will serve special sandwiches and other breakfast choices.
Each of the 255 suites is more spacious than normal hotel rooms by 20% and is embellished in the distinctive high-class Hyatt style. Occupants can unwind in separate sitting and sleeping spaces that are furnished with a mini-fridge. They can enjoy viewing the 42” flat screen television and also benefit from the free Wi-Fi facility offered. The hotel is situated at 301 3rd Avenue South and is only a block from the Country Hall of Fame and Museum.
The project is slated to be finished in late 2013.
