Wood Partners has commenced the construction of the Alta Legacy Farms apartment township in Hopkinton, Massachusetts. The $45 million apartment township is slated for completion in 2013 end and pre-leasing will begin from next June.
The 240-unit undertaking is a constituent of the bigger Legacy Farms venture, a 730-acre suburban township of 700 one-family and attached residences, besides the Alta Legacy Farms township. This is the only apartment complex sanctioned in Hopkinton.
Alta Legacy Farms will entail 156 single-bedroom units in the range of 772-1000 sq.ft. and 84 two-bedroom units of around 1200 sq. ft. Of these, 39 single-bedroom and 21 two-bedroom portions are categorized as economical residences and will be allotted to persons with 80% or lesser of the Area Median Income. It is a garden-type three-story walk-up project on 18 ac out of which 6 ac are reserved as long-term conservation land. The Legacy Farms township comprises 6 miles of walking paths, playgrounds and the village center.
Facilities available in each portion consist of wood cabinets, wooden finish vinyl plank floors in kitchens and entrance areas, an assortment of appliances such as microwave range hoods, one-inch vinyl window blinds, processed marble vanities with integrated sinks in bathrooms, maximum sized washers and dryers as well as garbage disposals.
Collective facilities consist of a club room with a tasting lounge, coffee house, billiards room, business center, media room, internet lounge, theater, and spacious fitness lounge with individual televisions on cardio equipment. An external lounge space with a firepit and built-in grilling stations as well as a resort-style pool with sundeck are all situated adjacent to the club room.
Legacy Farms is in charge of marketing, Cushman and Wakefield is the broker, equity partner is Bavin, WP East Builders - Legacy is the contractor and Cube3 Studios is the architect for the venture.
