The Franklin Delray, a new multifamily community project, has been started by Behringer Harvard in Delray Beach, Florida. LandSouth Construction of Jacksonville is the general contractor, and STB Architects & Planners of Dallas and Richard Jones Architecture of Delray Beach are the architects of this development project.
The project site spanning 8 ac is located less than one mile south of Atlantic Avenue and east of Interstate 95 in downtown Delray Beach.
Mark T. Alfieri, Chief Operating Officer of Behringer Harvard Multifamily REIT I, stated that this site was chosen because of its desirable location and proximity to employment centers in Boca Raton and West Palm Beach.
The community will have seven three-storey buildings with each apartment measuring up to 1035 sq. ft. The apartments will have three bedrooms and two bathrooms with private balconies, granite counter-tops, stainless steel appliances, full-size washers and dryers, and brushed nickel hardware. The project will also feature an amenities building and a clubhouse.
Outdoor living areas will be equipped with bicycles, water features, a children's playground, a barbecue, lounge area with fire pit and a resort-style pool with cabanas. Some of the common areas will include a fitness centre, library, cyber café and an activity zone for children.
This place is situated close to a beach and will be popular with those who are enthusiastic about water sports like jet-skiing, swimming, wind-surfing and kayaking. The place is also a hub for nightlife with dining and shopping experiences.
