The coil and extrusion coatings business of PPG Industries has declared that PPG certified metal panel program (PPG/CMPP) accreditation has been accomplished by six Nucor Buildings Group (NBG) companies.
Architectural Metal Systems and American Buildings in Alabama; CBC Steel Buildings in California; Kirby Building Systems in Tennessee; Gulf States Manufacturers in Mississippi; and Nucor Building Systems, which operates facilities in Indiana, South Carolina, Texas and Utah, are the six companies.
PPG’s coil and extrusion coatings business is managing the PPG/CMPP certification program. Through this program, architects will gain a direct access to PPG-certified top group of metal panel producers who apply Duranar ULTRA-COOL DURANAR and Duranar VARI-COOL fluoropolymer coating materials to metal building parts and denote, design, fabricate and fix aluminum parts, which are previously painted using these coatings.
PPG assists customers in consumer products, transportation, industrial and construction markets and aftermarkets in order to improve more surfaces in a number of ways. Pittsburgh-based PPG is operating in 60 countries across the world. Sales were $14.9 billion during last year.
