Miller & Smith and North America Sekisui House (NASH), have together come up with the idea of promoting a single-family residential complex in One Loudoun, according to One Loudoun Holdings, a joint venture of Miller & Smith and North America Sekisui House (NASH).
Accordingly, Miller & Smith will construct and sell the houses. The two organizations have concurred to come up with designs for the new style of single-family homes in One Loudoun called The Downtown Collection. The homes will be ready during Fall of 2012. The primary builder of the complex, Miller & Smith, will be joined by builders Camberley Homes and NVHomes in the undertaking.
The One Loudown community in Loudoun country, Virginia, is spread over 358 ac and will comprise 1040 houses, 702,000 sq. ft. of retail space inclusive of fine dining, high-class shopping, movie theater, upscale hotel, 3 million sq. ft. of administrative offices, clubhouse with pool and an amphitheater. The entire community will be enclosed by 150 ac of public land and long distances of walking trails. One Loudoun’s multi-use downtown district currently under construction is scheduled for opening in Spring 2013.
Satoshi Yoshimura, President and COO of NASH, stated that NASH’s parent company has been building residences in Japan for over 50 years and expressed pride in being associated with Miller & Smith with whom they share strong values.
