Milgard Windows & Doors, a Tacoma, Washington-based company of Masco, has declared the availability of Building Information Modeling (BIM) objects for Quiet Line Sound Control Series windows, Ultra/WoodClad Series fiberglass windows and doors and the Montecito Series vinyl windows and doors.
BIM objects, now available as 3D models, are generally used by architects during the design process. The newly available BIM objects will become a valuable resource for architects and will help them choose Montecito Series or Quiet Line Series for their design schemes.
Milgard Quiet Line Sound Control windows are energy efficient and provide weather protection and sound control performance. They allow 30% less noise compared to standard windows. Quiet Line windows are suitable for buildings and homes situated near an airport, facing repeated environmental noise or overlooking a freeway.
Ultra and WoodClad Series windows and doors provide strength, performance and durability like fiberglass. They are designed to balance the profile and beauty of solid wood windows. Milgard's fiberglass production process allows the company to create the complex profiles needed for the look of sketched wood windows on the exterior side along with the option of selecting natural wood or fiberglass for the interior side.
Montecito Series vinyl windows and doors are specially made for new construction installations. They are available in different operating styles and include new features like SmartTouch lock.
Milgard’s BIM objects are also available for Style Line Series and Tuscany Series vinyl windows and doors as well as Essence Series wood windows and doors.
