The San Francisco Unified School District has awarded two contracts to AECOM Technology, a company providing professional management and technical support services to both private and public clients in over 130 nations.
The total value of the two key contracts is roughly $10 million. These two contracts come under the Proposition A 2011 Bond program of the San Francisco Unified School District. According to the terms of the contracts, AECOM Technology will provide school building improvement services such as facility upgrades, seismic, safety and accessibility improvements, and maintenance and infrastructure developments.
The first contract includes the exclusive award for program planning and design management services, in which AECOM Technology’s team of program managers, engineers, and architects will deliver the support for early design phase work and building assessments to the district. The company will be delivering construction management services for the second contract.
AECOM Technology’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, John M. Dionisio stated that the company is proud to continue its support for this key client whose goal is to offer educational facilities to needy children in the San Francisco region. Since 2007, the company has been delivering construction management services to the San Francisco Unified School District, and provides management and technical support services to a variety of markets, which include government, water, energy, environmental, facilities and transportation.
