AGT Manufacturing, a company that aims at improving the efficiency, quality and safety of roofing, decking and siding installations, has developed a new product called Trant Bar that has been named after the company’s owner Allan Trant.
The Trant Bar reduces the need for manpower during installation of home vinyl sidings, saves money and time of the contractors, and reduces problems related to the safety feature.
Planks and scaffolds are used in the usual siding installation process for accessing the work location and the materials. At times, the sliding tends to fall off resulting in an increase in material costs and damage. On the other hand, the Trant Bar from AGT Manufacturing reduces wastage of materials, provides safety and secures the materials during the installation process.
Constant ladder descension and ascension is prevented by the technology and design of the Trant Bar that secures sufficient siding material for one full side of a house. The Trant Bar also prevents ground workers from wasting time in loading and sending materials up the scaffolding to the work location.
AGT Manufacturing estimates that builders can save about 200 dollars per week besides reducing compensation expenses of workers and insurance. The Trant Bar can be set up within 10 minutes by just one person, thus improving safety and allowing faster breakdown and startup times.
