US-based concrete contractor Jan Gruen Concrete is offering new design options for concrete, which is commonly perceived as a sturdy and durable material but at the same time dull and boring.
To overcome this issue concrete manufacturers are coming up with a new version of concrete called stamped concrete which has become increasing popular with home owners.
Stamped concrete is a special kind of concrete which has been textured to resemble other expensive materials such as granite, tile and stone. Prominent places where this concrete is used are patios, pool decks, entryways and driveways. This concrete is also available in various patterns with the pattern replicating natural stone aesthetic being most used by concrete manufacturers. Jan Gruen who owns Jan Gruen Concrete stated that stamped concrete is a less expensive material and customers tend to choose natural colours like slate and warm brown or prefer customising their colours.
Concrete floors are used in kitchens and entryways since it can be stamped, stained and polished for exterior applications similar to expensive materials at a much lesser cost. Jan Gruen has more than 30 years experience in the field of concrete for commercial and residential purposes.
