US-based Archstone, specialising in apartment investment and operations, has announced that it has begun construction of a new 227 unit apartment community in the Arlington Neighbourhood in Washington DC.
The project is known as Parkland Gardens and is located in the intersection of Lee Highway and North Glebe Road. The community will consist of a combination of one, two and three-bedroom apartments with high-end finishes.
Features include nine-foot ceilings, crown moulding, stainless steel appliances, master bathrooms with two vanities and kitchens in European style with glass doors, built-in book cases and large open floor plans. Common amenities of the community include private nooks, pet spa, amphi-theatre with tiered seating, two courtyards, sun deck and a resort style pool.
The construction will be financed by Sovereign Bank and Union Bank. Major employers that are located in close access to the community include Lockheed Martin, Booz Allen Hamilton, Deloitte and Rosslyn/Clarendon/Ballston. Residents will be able to enjoy the same luxurious life that they enjoyed in Downtown DC which is also pedestrian-friendly and provides various lifestyle enhancements. The Arlington community is widely preferred for residential apartments due to its low unemployment rate. The community also provides close access to various restaurants and shops and is also close to the Ballston Metrorail Station.
Archstone provides apartment rentals and other services to its customers along with a service guarantee.
