New York-based 2nd Ave Lighting has set up a new modern Multi-Port Natural Gas Forge. The company is an upscale brand and it manufactures decorative lighting that emphasises on the value of personalized designs, creating each of them as a novel work of art.
Artisans from 2nd Ave Lighting use the new equipment to heat steel as well as other metals so that they can be carved into different shapes and styles for simplified lighting designs and accents. The perfected metals are utilized for scrollwork and decorative accents for custom chandeliers as well as other lighting fixtures available from the small to large-scale masterworks.
Robert Cohen, CEO of 2nd Ave Lighting, said that company has assembled and installed a multi-port natural gas forge that will provide five separate burners for unlimited heat control. He also explained that this new capability will allow the company to heat iron as well as other metals with accuracy in certain parts of a lighting fixture to create dramatic effects. This new equipment will enhance the company’s forging time by 75% and significantly influence shipping times.
Cohen also explained that the new Forge will enable the company to expand its manufacturing capabilities and accelerate custom lighting orders to meet the demanding shipping requirements of customers.
2nd Ave Lighting offers lighting fixtures in a wide range of size, style, shade, finish and crystal choices.
