Principle of Vector Engineers Selects Eco Red Shield Protected Lumber

Eco Building Products (ECOB), a producer of wood products, declared that it has received an order to deliver Eco Red Shield protected lumber, which will be used to construct a 7,100 sq. ft. house at Alpine in Utah.

Roger Alworth, the Principle of Vector Engineers is the owner of this custom house. He has written numerous white papers on lumber protection. Both ECOB and Vector Engineers have been maintaining a cordial relationship for a number of years.

Vector Engineers has supported ECOB's technology from the beginning. A structural engineer must concentrate on fiber strength book values to select the timber for construction. Realizing the factors responsible in destroying and degrading fiber strength is important to protect wood.

According to Roger Alworth, the house will be guarded from fire, termites, rot and mold by using a slightly costlier Red Shield treated lumber. As a licensed engineer in all 50 states and focusing in timber structure design, he recommends house owners and builders to use the Red Shield product to protect their homes.

Eco Building Products produces wood products, which are treated with environment-friendly proprietary chemistry that guards against wood ingesting termites and insects, rot-decay, fungus, mold and mycotoxins and fire. ECOB's products include "Eco Clear Shield", "Eco Blue Shield" and "Eco Red Shield". The company uses WoodSurfaceFilm and FRC technology (Fire Retardant Coating) on wood.

Vector Engineers has CAD personnel and engineers. The company serves municipalities, project developers and architects. It operates from three locations in Utah.
