Sherwood Lumber Company and Georgia-Pacific Sign Distribution Agreement

Sherwood Lumber Company and Georgia-Pacific (GP) Wood Products have signed an agreement for the distribution of GP’s entire range of engineered wood products.

According to the agreement Sherwood Lumber will supply all the brands of GP including Wood I Beam joists, FiberStrong rim board and laminated beams and GP Lam laminated veneer lumber. Sherwood will supply these products through its distribution centre in Palmer, Mass initially and will later on supply the same through its facilities in Delanco, N.J and Hotsville, N.Y. Dealers who purchase the products from these branches will be given access to full units of material or job lot quantities in New Jersey, Eastern New York, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut and Eastern Pennsylvania.

Sherwood Lumber Company has been specializing in panel products and high quality lumber over the past 60 years. It is based in the Northeast and has offices across the US. GP specializes in the manufacture and supply of building products. Major brands handled by the company DryPly water repellant plywood, Nautilus wall sheathing, Plytanium plywood, ToughRock gypsum, DensArmor Plus interior panels and Georgia-Pacific Gypsum. Popular brands that have been associated with the company are Mardi Gras, So-Dri, Vanity Fair, Angel Soft, Brawny, Sparkle and Quilted Northern.
