Evolve Composites, Parksite Expand Distribution and Marketing Partnership for Handi Block Deck Piers

Columbia, Maryland-based Evolve Composites has expanded its distribution and marketing partnership with Parksite for innovative Evo-Crete Technology. The company’s Evo-Crete Technology has established superior standards for Ultra Light Weight concrete products.

Evolve’s Handi Block Deck Piers

Handi Block Deck Piers, available from Evolve, are a cost-efficient alternative to popular deck blocks that provide the required durability and strength at up to 1/3 of the gross weight. They are up to three times lighter when compared to traditional concrete. Handi Block Deck Piers are moisture resistant and have a high load bearing strength.

Handi Blocks have been proven to be a multi-purpose foundation block that can be used for a variety of home improvement projects such as decks, garden sheds, platforms, patios, cottages and raised walkways. The Handi Block product is a great choice when compared to making holes, mixing and pouring concrete and expecting it to settle down before completing a project.

The Evo-Crete technology supplies the required strength at a reduced weight. Evo-Crete, a Fiber Reinforced Cellular Concrete, uses less cement to produce a suitable product. Fiber Reinforced Cellular Concrete creates a powerful cellular structure along with fiber reinforcement to offer strength and durability. Other Evolve’s products that use Evo-Crete technology are Evo-Crete Hurricane Pads, Evo-Crete Generator Pads, Evo-Crete & Evo-Lite HVAC Equipment pads, Evo-Block Garden Blocks and Evo-Steps Pavers. The Evo-Crete technology is used for different applications, including deck piers, garden edging, generators, gas bottles, pump & filter equipment, air conditioners and hot water systems.

Jim Daniels, Vice President of Product Development for Parksite, said that Evolve’s Handi Block is a novel building product that complements the company’s product offering.
