When floor coverings are installed, moisture factor, which is a major reason for floor covering failures is neglected. The new ready mix concrete developed by the company prevents moisture since it dries faster than the regular concrete mixes. This allows the floor covering to be installed within a period of 30 days. This in turn helps companies to achieve faster turnaround times and adhere to project schedules. This also helps owners and designers to reduce their liabilities. The new solution is equally effective in dry and wet weather and can be used in various premises such as hospitals, schools, offices and retail locations.

According to the President and CEO of US Concrete, William Sandbrook, the new ready mix has been developed after five years of research and development and was developed with an intention of providing a sustainable solution for problems arising in flooring. According to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for US Concrete, Wally Johnson, the solutions that are presently available in the market for such issues can only be used at a later stage or are topical solutions which seal the moisture in. The new product however, helps prevent the onset of moisture before it appears.
