US based Oltmans Construction has announced that it has completed the construction of the auditorium at Crossing Church. The auditorium is a combination of aesthetic interior and exterior design and has integrated basic building materials that have the ability to control the environment acoustically.
The auditorium will have a capacity of 1,500 people and uses state-of-the-art audio visual systems. The technology used in the auditorium encourages participants or attendees to actively participate and interact in real time. Acoustically absorbent materials have been used in the ceiling, wall, roof and balcony which have resulted in producing high quality sounds with high clarity.
The auditorium covers an area of 22,000 sq. Ft. and has three levels. It has been designed in such a manner that the building has continuity to the open plaza courtyard spaces. The open courtyard houses a water fountain to welcome people entering the building.
Oltman Construction has completed 80 years in the industry as general contractor and provider of sustainable solutions and other quality services. The company specialises in office buildings, worship interiors, retrofitting, warehouse distribution centres, renewable energy projects and interior tenant improvements.
