Allen ISD’s new $60 million football stadium scheduled to open July 2012

The Eagles Stadium includes over 90,000 sq.ft of Matrix turf with permanent soccer and football lines. The CushDrain elastic shock pad contributes to better shock absorption and drainage capability. This featured-stadium with 18,000 seating capacity resembles a college-style coliseum with its exquisite sunken bowl design. In addition, the stadium will include a high-definition video replay scoreboard, an indoor golf practice area, two-tier press box outdoor plazas, a wall of honor, and a training room for the wrestling team. The Class 5A powerhouse anticipates housing the largest high school football stadium for one team in Texas.

The stadium is a part of the $119M bond project that consists of a new fine art auditorium and transportation service center for the district. With the new Matrix facility, Allen ISD will accommodate band competitions, graduation ceremonies, and playoff games and will also serve to be a concert venue.

Hellas’ patented Matrix synthetic turf system consists of two monofilament yarns created in diverse colors and sizes and has been utilized by several elite customers. The mixture of colors and under stadium lights contributes to excellent light deflection. The high strength coating and eco- friendly base ensures an excellent quality turf bind with extended life-span and increased performance.
