Crane Composites Achieves GREENGUARD Select Certification for FRP Wall and Ceiling Panels

Crane Composites is a pioneer producer of building materials utilized for hospitals and schools. Its entire product line of fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) wall and ceiling panels have now achieved the premium GREENGUARD Select certification.

The only FRP manufacturer to be distinguished with the GREENGUARD certificate is Crane Composites. GREENGUARD is concerned with standards related to indoor air quality (IAQ) and emissions testing. Following the achievement, over 40 products from the firm complies with the strict testing standards for commercial building products by the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute (GEI).

Following the company’s involvement in the testing and review process held in December 2010, this GREENGUARD Select certification has been achieved. Recently, the company achieved the GREENGUARD Children & Schools certification and the GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality certification. This certification has been implemented to ensure proper healthcare facilities for the school children, besides meeting the modern scientific and market demands.

The product samples of Crane Composites passed all three levels of GEI testing standards and achieved the premier position of this elite certification. The company’s extensive range of indoor FRP panels and the ENGINEERED SOLUTIONS group of industrial panel products have been distinguished with the GREENGUARD certifications. However, there is no need of testing and formulating once again.

The products certified by the GREENGUARD Select program will be based on its applications in areas including healthcare, commercial, educational and home. Crane Composites’ chief markets for FRP panels such as educational and healthcare categories were distinguished with this elite certification.
