Marriott International has reported that Courtyard Miami Lakes Hotel, a 139-room hotel at 15700 NW 77th Court in Miami Lakes has finished major remodeling of its lobby as well as guest rooms.

The new Refreshing Business lobby concept of the hotel, which also includes 12 suites, is designed to offer travelers with flexible social and work space.
Janis Milham of Courtyard by Marriott said that the hotel has redesigned the lobby so that guests could come out of their rooms to socialize, work or for entertainment, whether they are traveling alone or with friends.
The renovated Miami Lakes hotel lobby invites guests with lively contrasting colors, such as red, green, blue and orange. Private welcome pedestals have replaced the conventional front desk in order to create more private and personal interactions with guests when they arrive. This will enable staff to move around with guests to show the lobby features as well as provide assistance when required. The redesigned lobby has flexible seating arrangements ranging from a communal table in the center of the action, to private media cotes with high-definition televisions to a semi-enclosed lounge area.
The new Courtyard Miami Lakes Hotel lobby’s signature element is a high tech GoBoard, a 52” LCD touch screen having location information, weather, maps, and news, sports and business headlines. Guests can use the touch screen to spot restaurants and local attractions close to the Miami Lakes hotel as well as find directions to these places. There are sufficient electrical outlets throughout the Miami Lakes hotel lobby to power digital gadgets and guests can also plug in to free WiFi. The business library has been enlarged and dining has been entirely redesigned with The Bistro – Eat, Drink. Connect. The Market, a 24/7 shop for beverages, sundries and snacks, is open at all times.
Courtyard Miami Lakes Hotel has also completed the renovation of its guest rooms. The new guest rooms and suites, designed to suit both business and leisure travelers, provide accommodations at affordable rates. Each spacious room is well decorated and has an ergonomic chair, well-lit work desk and high-speed Internet access. Flat screen HD TVs, in-room tea and coffee and individual climate control are available in each hotel room.
