A panel of editors of GreenSpec and Environmental Building News have selected EonCoat’s waterborne ceramic coating as one of the top 10 products of BuildingGreen for the year 2012.

EonCoat Flexible Ceramic Coating

Novel sustainable building products included in the GreenSpec Directory during the last one year or reported in the Environmental Building News are considered for this tenth annual award. The ability of a product to meet the basic building needs was one of the major selection criteria of BuildingGreen in the earlier years. BuildingGreen also recognizes producers like EonCoat who launch advanced eco-conscious solutions.

EonCoat is a 100% inorganic material devoid of toxic, smog-generating volatile organic compounds that are commonly used in commercial and industrial coatings, reducing carbon emissions by 90% during the production process. The substrate’s top layer is chemically modified to create a unique alloyed layer with high stability and superior corrosion resistance. Its advanced corrosion resistance technology makes it suitable for concrete and steel coating applications. It eliminates the formation of dangerous disposable waste, resulting in a safer environment.

BuildingGreen.com stated that industrial facilities have begun to apply EonCoat in extremely corrosive conditions and are impressed with its high durability. The Chief Executive Officer at Tony Collins, EonCoat is an innovative coating technology and has started receiving wide acceptance in the coating industry. The company is proud about the recognition of BuildingGreen and are happy to offer eco-friendly building products and solutions, he added.
