The architectural coatings business of the PPG industries has introduced a zero- volatile organic compound(VOC) interior paint as an extension of its Speedhide paints portfolio.
The Speedhide paint provides a high durability, lifelong performance and is cost-effective as required by the building owners, contractors and plant managers. The new zero-VOC interior paint with added coolant can be used in new and repaint applications, where the Speedhide zero interior paints having increased quality of vinyl acrylic formulation are being used.
The Speedhide zero interior paint, having no volatile organic compounds and no ethylene glycol, requires tough environmental regulations across the nation. All paints of the Speedhide brand meet the Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS) criteria of low emitting material , the emission standard of Greenguard Environmental Institute (GEI), the Master Painters Institute (MPI) standards, and also makes the project to receive credits of LEED.
The Speedhide zero interior paints has fewer aromas, which helps the contractor to use it in occupied spaces where day to day activity interruption is low. The product is being offered with several ranges of bases and also with semi-gloss, eggshell, primer and flat finishes. The Voice of Color program, presenting professional color tools and a broad range of colors is used in the Speedhide zero-Voc interior paint.
