Weyerhaeuser has currently become the distributor of a panelized stone veneer known as Versetta Stone, to the mid-Atlantic and northeast U.S. markets.
This lightweight stone veneer is a wall finishing material produced by Boral Stone Products. This stone appears to be like a natural stone, but can be fixed easily and quickly when compared to usual building material. Weyerhaeuser is supplying this building material through its service centers in Easton, Baltimore, Charlotte, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Richmond and Virginia.
Boral Stone Products’ Market Development Leader has stated that the company has chosen Weyerhaeuser for its product distribution, because Weyerhaeuser has a strong service and a good reputation and has a good rapport with builders, dealers and remodelers and also has the network to quickly deliver the products to the clients.
Weyerhaeuser’s Product Manager has commented that the company is constantly looking for superior products in order to include to its distribution offerings. This new Versetta Stone makes the jobs of the contractors easier. This product adequately complements the finishing and siding materials supplied by the company.
Versetta Stone is similar to the conventional siding material. An integrated nail flange is employed for panel installation and the contractors are permitted to complete the stone’s look excluding the building work with separate mortars and stones. The color and molding application of the product is similar to natural stone, which captures the delicate shades identified in nature.
