Worldhotels, a hotel group having regional hotel brands and independent hotels in its fold, declared that it has included the Brazil located Hotel Transamerica Sao Paulo in its South American portfolio.
The hotel, which was previously a division of the Grupo Alfa conglomerate makes the global hotel collection of the company to 450 affiliate properties in 250 places located in 65 countries all over the world.
Hotel Transamerica Sao Paulo, a known urban resort within the city has 396 guestrooms. The executive suites in the hotel in addition to providing panoramic view also offer concierge, 24-hour room service, cable television, work stations within the room and wireless connectivity for internet. The hotel provides absolute privacy for those who look forward to it. Its protected VIP floor provides exclusive services such as private meeting rooms, private room and butler service and private check in. The other VIP services include breakfast service in the social areas of the hotel, delivery of newspaper and free internet access.
Presently, Worldhotels has a total of nine affiliates in South America, which includes 6 in Brazil and 3 in Argentina. The group is in various levels of negotiation to buy new hotel properties in Colombia, Chile and Peru. In 2010, the hotel group has entered into an accord with Othon Hotels of Brazil to have hotels in Brazil. The accord enabled the group to own five hotels in important leisure travel and key business cities such as Belo Horizonte, Salvador and Rio de Janeiro.
