Behringer Harvard, declared that it has acquired Renaissance, a multifamily community comprising 132 units and located in Concord, California around 30 mi east of San Francisco.
The property also includes a neighboring 2.7 acres of land kept for future development. The company has invested in the property through a partnership venture with PGGM Private Real Estate Fund, an investment medium for Dutch pension funds.
The Renaissance apartments were built in 2008 at 1825 Galindo Street. The apartments having an average size of 1,179 sq ft. were constructed to meet the specifications of condominium quality. Each unit is constructed with 9 ft ceilings and features up to three bedrooms and two bath rooms. The other facilities in the construction include full-size washers and dryers, walk-in type of closets with mirror fixed doors, ceramic tile flooring, natural beech cabinets, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and gourmet kitchens.
The other common-area facilities in the construction include a business center, a barbecue area, a social lounge complete with a fully equipped kitchen and a fire place, a modern fitness center and a resort-type swimming pool with a spa and sundeck. The construction has residential security arrangement with 24 hour video monitoring and a protected underground parking.
Renaissance is located in a pedestrian-friendly atmosphere in central Concord. It remains within walking distances from the business centers, Bank of America building and the Concord Tech office park. The place is also close to dozens of restaurants, a new 12-screen cinema, boutiques and host of other facilities such as Bay Area Rapid Transit system and access to interstate 680 and 242 and 4 highways.
