HKR to Construct Three Major Facilities in London

HKR Architects (HKR), a global design and architecture company has declared that it has received three major design contracts in London.

The contracts include the building of a 23-storeyed five-star hotel, a huge office facility and a 19-floor mixed-use student housing facility. HKR had won a construction contract to build an international airport in Jordan inclusive of departure and arrival facilities, security and hangar buildings as well as diplomatic suites in the previous year.

The five-star hotel will comprise 273 rooms having a spa, gym, conference, banqueting and business centre, restaurant, panoramic bar and corporate lounges. This building is scheduled to be completed in the year 2012 and has a louvered roof and fritted glass façade above two basement levels totaling an area of around 200,000 sq.ft.

The second contract is for a mixed-use facility for students, located at 33-35 Commercial Road, Aldgate, which includes building of a 19 floor tower coated with zinc, renovation of the already listed buildings and design of a new category A office facility. This property is scheduled for completion in 2013 spring and will have approximately 340 student rooms.

The third contract is for a 300,000 sq.ft office facility with green-terraced roof garden levels HKR has been successful in constructing excellent international design and architecture system for its large number of international clients providing them with professional expertise and innovative designs that surpass their expectations.
