The East Bay, San Francisco located Hilton Concord Hotel, has announced the commencement of its large-scale hotel renovation with multi-million dollar investment.
The renovation includes refurbishing of its executive lounge, business center, gift shop, courtyard, exterior façade, meeting and event space, lobby, public corridors and 331 suites and guestrooms. While most of the renovations planned for the hotel will get finished by the year end of 2011, the hotel has planned for more improvements in 2012.
The renovation being a part of the global repositioning attempt of the hotel will provide a rationalized design for the Concord hotel and will induce a congenial atmosphere for the arriving guests. The hotel is planning to introduce inventive solutions to assist its business travelers to perform their business with ease, while offering a new exciting experience for the businesses, local residents and travelers visiting the hotel in the Walnut Creek – Concord location.
To maintain its commitment to sustainability and responsiveness to the environment, the hotel has included a range of eco-friendly products such as TOTO Eco flush toilets that consume only 1.28 gal of water in all its bathroom facilities used by the guests. The new toilets fitted with hydraulic comfort seats and noiseless flush will utilize water efficiently. The light fittings in the guest rooms and public places in the hotel will replace normal CFL lighting with LED bulbs to save on power.
The exterior of the hotel has been painted fresh with a color that improves the look and architecture of the construction. The hotel has now moved from the usage of standard beige paint coat to a bright cream paint and deep amber.
