Coastal Innovative Products, a company that manufactures Lanai Doors, declared the receipt of a Notice of Acceptance from Miami-Dade County for the supply of its top-hung hurricane aluminum folding door and window systems.
The Lanai Doors hurricane systems have a general rating of DP-70 to withstand winds speeds up to 165 mph and can seal 8 ft tall and 48 ft wide gap.
The Lanai Doors produced in southern California are sold directly to clients all over North America. The doors are tested for TAS and ASTM tests are provided in a number of options such as three or more doorways, high efficiency dual glaze glass to withstand small and large missile impacts, 3-0/8-0 panels or smaller, a maximum of 16-panel systems and in 80 in-swing and 80 out-swing with top hung shapes. The Lanai Doors standard doorway folding systems are trialed at higher levels over and above their overall rating of +DP-100/-DP-80 and cycled at DP-90.
Lanai Doors also produces window systems and folding doors with wood and dressed panels. The company also constructs non-hurricane systems of 52 ft wide and 12 ft tall with features such as incorporated stationary sidelites and interior systems without the use of bottom guides, door-window combinations and zero-post corners. The Lanai folding systems can be ordered with a normal sized Centor S1 screen that can cover an opening measuring 24 x 10 ft tall.
The company ships its commercial and residential systems to places such as Caribbean Islands, Costa Rica, Mexico, Canada and the United States.
