Trinitas Ventures Builds New Student Housing Project in Richmond, Virginia

Trinitas Ventures, a developer of mixed-use communities and student housing projects, declared that it has commenced the construction of a new student-housing community in Richmond, Virginia.

The new student housing development consisting of 269 units and 690 beds will provide accommodation to the students of the Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). The construction is anticipated to get completed to facilitate its opening in August 2012.

The new Collegiate will be placed around ½ a mile north of the present Monroe Park Campus of VCU in the middle of the downtown area of Richmond, Virginia. The construction will incorporate the design of large sized units featuring townhouse apartment style to provide an urban milieu. The construction will incorporate a clubhouse measuring 6,274 ft² featuring a fitness center, spa, recreational facilities and a courtyard with sundeck, pool, and a volleyball and basket ball court.

The project is financed by a partnership arrangement between Harrison Street Real Estate Capital (HSRE) and Trinitas. PNC Bank has been offering construction finance for the project.

Trinitas Ventures is a fully incorporated company engaged in financing, developing, constructing and managing student housing facilities and communities. The company presently owns and manages student housing assets valued around $150 million and has around $70 million worth student housing under various stages of construction. The company is having its headquarters in West Lafayette, Indiana.
